Plan for February 3

Welcome to February! Although I am struggling to accept we that we are already a full month into this new year, I am excited about your prayer focus with the kids this month. You get to take this activity that you do with them every week (right?) and really let them dig in, explore and ask questions. Your first week's question is:

What Takes God So Long?

But, you will have a more limited timeframe to discuss this lesson, since you are doing music with Ms. Judy in Room 005 this week. Yes, I have said for about a month now that your music date was January 27... the problem is, I apparently can't count. Music is definitely this coming Sunday, February 3.

Last call for Lent curriculum!

During Lent, the church will offer a church-wide series from Adam Hamilton, entitled Last Words. Adam Hamilton was also the author of The Journey, which you just completed. There is no children's guide for this study, but I am planning to re-craft the adult leader guides for use with the K-3rd graders. 

I'd like your input - would you like to use the adult guides to create your own Lent discussion curriculum for Alive!? Here are the topics included:

It is Finished - Into Your Hands I Commit My Spirit
